PYMNTS.com – CSI global-fleet is adding another commercial card service to the company’s portfolio. Reports on Friday (Jan. 22) said the CSI globalVCard unit is rolling out its Over the Road (OTR) fuel card service for the freight trucking industry.
According to the company, the card can provide more comprehensive solutions for freight drivers and managers than a traditional credit card product can. A top differentiator for the trucking fleet industry is fuel prices, and the recent decline in diesel costs, the firm said, means this is a prime time for fleet managers to take advantage of cost optimization.
