As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we acknowledge the accomplishments of women worldwide and shine a special spotlight on #WomenAtCSI.
Consider how far women have come, particularly in business. It wasn’t that long ago that “businesswoman” meant secretary. And as unbelievable as it is, just 30 years ago, forward-thinking women needed a man to co-sign on a business loan.
Today, women entrepreneurs own at least 40% of all businesses in the US. We have the first female Vice President of the United States. And we have a significant presence in previously male-dominated industries, including Fintech. Women such as Susanne Chishti, CEO of FinTech Circle, and Anitha Sathe, Global Leader of Marsh’s BlueStream platform, are leading the way to equality.
There are several women at CSI who have also taken on the challenge of being leaders and inspirations in the Fintech industry. Their colleagues nominated them as women who made an impact or showed incredible leadership.
